MSC Dytran 是MSC.Software 公司的核心產品之一, 專門適用於高速瞬態非線性動力
問題, 瞬態流固耦合問題的數值仿真。
從1988年開始, MSC在結構瞬態動力響應軟體DYNA3D框架下開發了MSC Dyna並於1990年
發佈了第一個版本。該程式繼承了DYNA3D優異的快速顯式積分算法和豐富的材料模式,
採用MSC.Nastran的輸入數據格式, 可用於分析各種非線性瞬態響應, 如高速撞擊、
接觸摩擦、沖壓成型等。
1993年MSC發佈了MSC Dytran的第一個商業版本。該產品集MSC.Dyna和MSC.PISCES 3D
之大成, 拉格朗日和歐拉算法優勢互補, 成為第一個能夠模擬複雜流固耦合問題、高
度非線性、瞬態動力響應的大型商用軟體，適合於模擬國防軍工領域常見的爆炸、穿
甲等流固耦合問題, 在國防、 航空航太、核安全、石化等領域有廣泛應用。在隨後的
發展中, MSC Dytran在單元庫、 數據結構、 前後處理等方面與MSC的旗艦產品MSC
Nastran趨於一致。
在問世的十餘年中, MSC Dytran歷經無數航空、 航太、 汽車、造船、鐵路、國防、
核工業等領域科研和工程項目考驗。該軟體的開發環境經過ISO認證, 每天都要通過
500個以上例題的自動測試以保證程式的可靠性和穩定性。2003年MSC.Software公司與
LSTC公司達成全球戰略合作協定，將LS-DYNA程式完全集成入MSC Dytran。此功能在
Windows, UNIX和Linux作業系統上均可方便實現。計算高效，求解穩定。MSC將最強的
Lagrange技術與最強的Euler、耦合技術相結合，形成功能最為強大的非線性顯式有限
元軟體。
A ship runs aground, a cell phone drops off a table, gasoline sloshes
in a gas tank and explodes. These are events that happen very quickly
and that may cause permanent structural damage. You need to design
products to hold up, but real world testing may be expensive or
impossible. You can't build an oil tanker and then run it aground to
check for oil spills, for example. But you can use Dytran to simulate
the behavior of small to extremely large assemblies in disastrous
events, such as a drop, an impact, a shake, or a blast, to examine
what might cause a product to fail.
Dytran is an explicit finite element analysis (FEA) solution for
analyzing complex nonlinear behavior involving permanent deformation
of material properties or the interaction of fluids and structures.
Dytran enables you to study the structural integrity of designs to
ensure that final products stand a better chance of meeting customer
safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
